I need suggestions on dust collection - 2 replies

I would like to attach my miter saw to a 1.5hp dust collector. The intake is 4in and the distance from tool to collector is 9 feet. How can this be done a keep maximum suction

Routing question - 17 replies

I have a router with a bosh lift and router. I need to rout a 1/2 X 1/2 inch rabbit in cherry . The router lift will not lower the bit further than 1/2 inch from the table top. I do not want to take this cut at full depth how can I accomplish this. The bit is a 1/2 inch spiral upcut whitside bit. Any suggestions would be welcome
