« Part 1: Wood Butter (What you got in your box?) Part 2 of Adventures with Wax series no next part

My second grease box was a gift to a friend. He’s an avid fly fisherman and said he could use the wax for “dubbing”. Sweet, yet another use for the beloved grease box. I will have to look into this use and find some recipes. Any ideas or leads? I made a short video of filling his box with wax…

I tried messing around with my smartphone and making a time lapse of the wax melting. I will try and load a better quality video later. Only cell service at the time. Cabin weekend on the Rocky Mountain Front!

Side note…

Picture of the beautiful day captured by my amazing wife.

Amazing the difference in weather. Breakfast the next morning.

I don’t EVEN know what you’re tryin’ to show us.
Sorry if this seems too critical.

It’s the trail and error of figuring out this blog type thing. It was meant to show a link to a YouTube video that I created of wax melting. Just funning around figuring things out on a 2” x 3” phone screen. As far as critical goes: feed back is always welcome and never needs to be “soft pitched” to me. A simple attempt at “putting myself out there”. Showing some of the journey as well as the destination. Just was waiting to get back to wifi so I could load a better quality video.

And no audio yet, because that’s another thing to work out in the process.
