I have been in the aerospace industry for 20+ years, which does not lend itself to having a lot of free time to pursue outside interests. But the business has a tendancy of making one fearless in trying new projects. So I have decided to give woodworking a go. I have spent the last 20 years collecting tools an such, so its time to put them to use!

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Glad you found LJ. It is a great site. The problem is it can become very addicting. There are some amazing craftmen on this site and they go out of their way to be helpful. I am Glad the planner worked out for you. I look forward to seeing many postings.
