Recently I came across some old chisels on ebay and decided to purchase with the idea of transformation in mind. Not beauties by any stretch of the imagination but contain some good metal which I had plans for. I’ll just use the handles to make ‘something’.
The timing of the project is unique in that I am in need of my own transformation and needed a little project to get my mind off of some recent worries. Let’s cut up some old beat up chisels. One of the chisels was a Buck Brothers brand, ill not be cutting that one up…that baby is going in the tool rack.
As it is, I have been seeking suitable employment for months now…going on 7, since graduating from NC State University as a non-traditional student. I knew the return to school after years in law enforcement wasn’t going to be the golden key. However, I would have never thought my life would be such an emotional roller coaster after graduation. Sucks to be older…should be a green horn. To say job seeking and the turn down from a couple hundred employers has been taxing on my psyche would be a huge understatement.
Just a piddle project—a step away from reality.
A walk over to the lathe to just freshen the head up a bit.
regarding the job search- i’ll keep tapping away!
