I don’t watch much TV. It takes away from shop time. And most of it is garbage anyway. But I do catch a show or two, or watch a movie from time to time, on my computer. And I hate to admit it, I enjoy reruns as much as the next guy. I’ve spent countless hours and wasted precious life re-watching Star Wars, James Bond, Indiana Jones, Bad Boys, Kelly’s Heros, Sweet Home Alabama, etc… Why would anyone watch a show more than two or three times? It’s not like changes suddenly appear. But now I’ve finally found a way to justify time in front of the idiot box – SANDING! And by “sanding” I mean “hand sanding” (I tried sanding with my rotary tool and couldn’t see the screen). Since neither require rapt attention, they are the perfect combination. Now I just have to find a way of keeping the sawdust from getting all over my desk and chair and rug.

Just be careful that you aren’t using the laptop with that much sawdust, the fan can suck it in and do some damage.
