I'm recently retired and love having more time for my woodturning. My wife and I have an RV and travel pretty much all summer. She's a teacher and can only get summers off. As soon as she retires we'll be spending more time on the open road.
Like a lot of woodworkers, the one thing that I need most of all in my shop is more space. I'm using half of our double garage. I put most of my power tools on a movable base and that helped a great deal.
I fell in love with segmented woodturning and that's the direction that I'm going for the most part.
