Location: Chicago Suburbs

My grandfather had a workshop in the back of his garage since my mom was a little girl. She even knocked over his tablesaw when he mounted it to a pole.

That same tablesaw now sits in my workshop along with a bunch of other shop tools from the 1950's that I inherited from my grandfather. My main workshop is in the single car bay of a 3 car garage. But if I need to, I can park the cars outside and use the whole thing.

The garage is detached, unfinished and unheated or air conditioned. I plan to rectify all that in the coming years because Chicago summers and winters can be pretty brutal, making it difficult to enjoy the workshop during those months. Any ideas are appreciated.

Tablesaw: Craftsman 113.29920 (inherited)
Jointer: Craftsman 103.20660 (inherited)
Drill Press: Craftsman 103.24820 (inherited)
Band Saw: Craftsman 113.24290 (inherited)
Shaper: Craftsman 113.23940 (inherited)
Router: Triton TRA001
Circular Saw: Skil
Reciprocating Saw: Skil
Air Compressor: Campbell Hausfeld
