Hi Tim,

I will echo Bruce’s comment about the pictures. I, personally, find visual tours of other shops to be an interesting part of being involved with this group.

Scott – I’ll see what I can do. I have it on my list of things to do. I enjoy seeing the workshop and project pictures as well, so I understand where you are coming from. Coming soon …

Tim,

You have a nice shop space in which to work. It is well organized and I like the tools that you have to play with. The planer placement is interesting in that it allows you access to the planer and, as you point out, use the space underneath for other purposes.

Thanks for allowing me to visit with you in your shop. I would enjoy working in a shop like this.

Tim,

I just “took a tour” through your shop. You have a cozy setup, and nice tools. I know what you mean when you say that it is your sanctuary. There is something deeply satisfying about working with your own tools in your own shop, building something for yourself or for your family.

Keep up the good work and have a great day.

Oldwoodman – funny that you mention the shop. I just moved in the spring, so I need to update my shop pictures. The tools are relatively all the same. I have a basement shop once again, but I made a few changes this time. I added better lighting and changed up my dust collection a bit. Anyway, I’ll have to get on the stick and update workshop page. My new basement was/is unfinished, so I had the opportunity to slice out some space, frame up some walls, and throw down some drywall and sound proofing. It is still my sanctuary, just with a little different look and feel.

Putting your planer up on the wall like that was a great idea! I might just do that.
