Woodturning: White Cypress Banana Bowl

In this video Colin turns a stunning #BananaBowl out of Goldfields White Cypress a species local to us here in Western Australia.

Turned using a two bowl gouges and a negative rake bowl scraper from Crown Tools in the United Kingdom, this is an excellent example of what can be turned with just a relatively small tool set.

The project was finished with SHELLAWAX Friction Polish from U-Beaut Polishes who are an Australian made & owned company specialising in finishes for woodturners.

love it,beautiful,up to the point it flew off your lathe.thankfully it survived the flight-lol.

haha, thankfully we got super lucky when it was thrown off that it only got a small scratch on the foot!
