I remember playing with wooden toys my grandfather made as when I was a kid. I never knew it then but I think that is when "the bug" started.

I began working with wood by default 5 years ago when my wife and I purchased our first house. The trim downstairs was painted dark brown and my wife hated it, upon closer inspection the "wood" trim was actually closer to cardboard so she agreed to let me buy my first saw (a skil miter saw, long ago replaced) to redo the splotchy job of the previous home owner.

Since then I started building as much as possible. I love the sound and smell of freshly cut wood! I am a beginner but look forward to what I can produce in the years to come.
