This storage solution is very simple and easy to make. It can be adopted for lathe tools, screw drivers, and basically any tools that is longer and skinny. Best part about this project is that is can be made from scrap and is mobile is made with the french cleat system like I did. Check out the video and hit that subscribe button.

did something very similar for my lathe tools, just attached pvc pipe to a board side by side then fastened the board to the bottom of a cabinet over my lathe, the tools slide into the pipes horizontally facing me.i have virtually no wall space left so this solved the problem.this is a great idea and as you said very simple.
