Live Edge and Flying Shrapnel - 13 replies

First go at live edge and I’m fairly pleased with the result. I have another that is almost identical….both came from odd chunks that were very thin on one side lending to either a very shallow platter or a live edge. Price point was tolerable and the power is a huge step up. The swinging headstock was something I really wanted as I just honestly like to turn big things...

Woodturning with....stone? - 6 replies

I am in the market for and likely going to purchase a new lathe as early as this weekend. My Rikon midi is just old and tired and frankly, not big enough to do what I want....
