Forever saw restoration #1: JET JTAS-10 restoration project

So I came across an older 90s Jet cabinet table saw (JTAS-10) on CL for $50. The magnetic power switch had been cut and didnt seem to stay on when I tried to test the motor.
Components:
“Beismeyer style fence with 52 rail
Up close of plastic bubble looking rough
Original 1996 3HP motor needing new bearings

Cast Iron top before and after pics

Dissassembled parts
Top removed
Trunnions needing cleaning

Great price for a great saw. A very good saw. I have the same one and it works faultlessly all the time. One of the better saws out there. I’ve had mine for about 35 years and will never buy a newer saw. As they say, ” they don’t make them like they used to”.
