I was raised by an Industrial Arts teacher. He built every house he ever owned and remodeled kitchens in the summers. I learned from one of the best, except I was the youngest of four boys and he stopped remodeling kitchens about the time I was old enough to help. (Dang)

I am a research engineer by profession. (I work for a tiny startup company you probably never heard of: Boeing.) Update (now retired)

I remodeled my wife's kitchen a few years ago (proof that woodworking is not genetic) I had a whole bunch of stuff that I had to learn.

My wife and I have six daughters (and for twelve years, one bathroom).

I recently started a manufacturing company on the side. I love manufacturing and working with my hands.
