Last fall I picked up an RBI 220 for a song ($75, really) but it needed about $80 in parts… no big deal.

finally got around to playing with it at bit. I’ve got no real experience with Scroll Saws, so I got a copy of Nelson’s “Scroll Saw Workbook” and started working through it…

I’m certianly no expert, but I AM getting better (I think…).

Project two is a simple cat, and I 10 year old likes it!!! She thinks that its “cool”

Now if I could only figure out how to format my blog!!

If you haven’t, go get a copy of Nelson’s book!!!

Keep at it. Looks like you got a great start. Keep working your way up to the harder more complex projects and that’s there you’ll really enjoy it.

That saw for $155 was a bargain. Only beware that scrolling is very addictive and once addicted there is no recovery.

Nice purchase. I will just give one bit of advice. Buy some good blades online. Get some of the Flying Dutchman Blades. It makes a world of difference and is a small investment. I like to get mine from, he is a retired man who sells the blades at a good price through his love for scrolling.
