I am a first rate turd polisher. I love taking garbage and salvaged materials and turning them into awesome things people will cherish for years to come. Picking through old furniture next to a dumpster because i consider it perfectly good material is something that is common for me to do. An old out of fashion oak desk when broken down makes lots of really over-engineered almost too nice to use shop benchtops and boxes once you put a little time into it. I work with metal, wood, and do my own electrical work in the shop. I often restore old tools just because i enjoy it and i do my best to find creative solutions using minimal new materials. I've got a 1300 sq ft shop with its own 200 amp dedicated panel and a 1600 sq ft insulated but unfinished garage so i have the luxury of stockpiling salvaged materials until i find that one project that they are perfect for.
