« Part 1: Just ordered a Delta T2 Part 2 of Craftsman TS Upgrade series Part 3: Fence and Zero Clearance Insert Installed »

My life is pretty mundane, so few things put as big a smile on my face than coming home to find a UPS/FEDEX package waiting for me. In this case, it was a REALLY big UPS package from tools-plus. It was of course my Delta fence. I dragged it into the garage and opened it up. Delta packaged it very well and it was in flawless condition. UPS would have had to try pretty hard to damage it.
My first impression was “wow, this thing looks even beefier in person”. Of course, I only have my stock fence to compare it to. But even pre-installed it looks like a much better fence than what you find on most Sears/HD/Lowes contractor saws. And its definitely light years better than my current fence.
I only had about 30 minutes to spare, so installation will have to wait until tomorrow…..or the next day at most.

Tedstor, the T2 is a nice fence and you will be really happy with it.

For the money I don’t think it can be beat.

I put one on my R4511 and loved everything about it. I only adjusted it the first time and that was it.

Simply a great replacement fence for all those saws that for some reason came with a crappy OEM fence.

Have your say...
