Hi folks, I am a former machinist who finally has the space for what was a lifelong dream, a woodworking shop.

Currently working on my 30 x 10 covered porch while I move a massive bank of dirt to put up my shed :)

You all know the old saying.... I built a house and "finished it" 15 years later.

I may be relatively new to fine woodwork but due to 18 years in machine shops I have a few tricks up my sleeve. If you have an odd engineering idea and would like some feedback on it, feel free to hit me up.

Hi folks, new guy in town :)

Currently pondering whether to buy a used old contractor’s Delta table saw or go with the brand new Bosch 4100 rig.

hmm.. decisions decisions..

Either way it will be a wonderful upgrade from my 1950’s Craftsman 103 that I overhauled some time ago :)
