I finally have a garage to work in . However, I started using all hand tools now. I have to admit I am completely hooked. There’s just something magical about feeling the wood and the way the planes or chisels rides the wood. The feedback each tool gives is amazing. I do occasionally use the table saw for cutting large quantities and the bandsaw but all the other machine tools are dormant. I actually acquired eight hand planes for absolutely no money. Restored them and learned to sharpen tools as well. I wish I found all this out when I was younger. Well better late than never. If you haven’t tried using hand tools you should at least try it. It is a bit of a challenge but worth it.

Lots of room to grow around the saw. I like the convenience of the table to sit down and take a break.
