Part 1: Delta 14-651 Mortiser Switch Reliability
So, for the past 4-1/2 years, I’ve had this Delta 1/2 HP mortiser that has given fairly reliable service, even though my use is fairly infrequent. Part 2: PSI Turncrafter Lathe
Not sure, but I think I’ve had this for about 5 years now. The lathe doesn’t spin up right away. Sometimes it doesn’t start and other times, it starts but turns real slowly for a while, then speeds up to full speed. It also seems to lack power when I do get it running. It has a DC motor 1/2 horsepower, 120 VDC, 60 Hz, Class E 1700 RPM. I am assuming that the speed control has gone bad, but can’t be sure. Here’s a photo of the circuit board. H...
