I used this basic lumber rack idea from the Wood Whisperer. He’s one of my go-to You-Tube channels when I need advice. I have this nice empty wall that is begging me to hang lumber on it.
And I have this butchered piece of plywood that I used to protect some wet concrete a few months ago.
I made this jig to cut all the angled brackets on the table saw.
I bolted the uprights to the wall with lag screws. Then I built all the “C” shaped brackets and installed them on the uprights.
I installed the two ends first, ran a string line and lined up the middle brackets, so that everything stayed even and level.
Once I finished, I was able to sort out all my scraps. It’s good to know your inventory.
Thanks for having a look.
