... but you rolled your van!

LOL
Big-ass palets will do that turning a corner.

Pallets,
not my thing,
(Another mans trash is another mans treasures.)
Congrats,
Be sure to post some projects made from them.

Thanks, actually I’m upgrading the basement, which was dug only to 1m30 (I’m taller than that! ><), and that I dug up to 1m95 height, but I’m aiming for a pallet wood floor once I’m done with cementing the sides and putting a thick plastic & sand layer on the floor. If memory serves my last pallet project was that folding table ten years ago, which is still happily living here, in said van actually (we use it on the road to change the diapers of our baby). These pallets are really very long, the two at left just fit the 3m20 inside my van, the others are around 2m long each… not too shabby!

Fluted and barbed with that! Hate those, but you gotta give them credit for holding real strong. I always go the Jimmy DiResta route when dismantling pallets now : I cut through the nails and pop the remainder out once I’m done. I much prefer my real lumber stash though, but for stuff that’s not meant to last very long, pallets are good enough ;)
