When I was a kid, my mom used to shop at garage sales (or rummage sales as they call them in southern Indiana). She found an old drill press that my grandfather suggested would be good for my dad. She somehow got the thing loaded in the family car and brought it all the way back up to where we lived at the time in the Chicago suburbs. Part 2: Drill press restore mostly completed.

Well, the drill press is mostly completed. The only thing I need to do is fabricate a cover to hide the belt and power cords. Not exactly a match to the original color, but now it looks like a tractor! Next project is to build a cart, this thing is to heavy to move around by lifting it. Who ever had this before really used and abused it! Someone welded a T handle onto a bolt to make it easier to position the table. Used an old extension cord for the wiring.
