Part 1: Cupcake Box

So, I’m having a bit of woodworking ADD lately while trying to work on holiday gifts. I have a million things to do so of course I’m procrastinating. I decided to attempt making my own pattern and went with a simple cupcake box. I’ve seen the ones that are round and look like actual cupcakes, but I wanted mine to be a flat box with a sort of intarsia top. I drew up the pattern in Inkscape and started cutting. Part 2: Cupcake Box Prototype Finished

I finished up the cupcake box prototype. I had to make some changes on the fly when I realized my original pattern wasn’t going to work because I forgot to account for some things. Overall though, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out and I plan on using my notes to go back and tweak the pattern until I get something that’s consistent.
