Recently, I built a rather large storage unit for my workshop. Once it was built I noticed that there was a big face that could be used as a back drop for my You-Tube videos. I had several ideas but a chalkboard won the day. Now it can be used to draw diagrams, write comments or anything that is interesting.
Here is the link to my You-Tube video, (https://youtu.be/RS3n_1miBtg)
The material list:
One – sheet of plywood (cut to size)
One – sheet of OSB (cut to size and half)
One – gallon of Kilz primer paint (not all of it was used) as foundation for Chalkboard paint
One – quart of Krylon Chalkboard paint
One – eight foot long piece of cherry trim 1×10 for my chalk board trim and tray
Some scraps for the braces
And some construction screws
-- Only a woodworker will value a good screw-up
