Been watching your podcasts. I'm just learning to use the spoke sheaves and your info really helped. Congrats on becoming a jointer at the Steppingstone Museum. They really have 40,000 tools. Wow. Makes your head spin just thinking about it.

I have a Nikon D40 which takes 6 megapixles plus its like a 1300x(another high number) so it looks giant on the page.
Actually I hate to admit it but I did do it the strip method as well. I thought the samething, if I cut each peice out seperately I won't be able to glue it fast enough and It will turn out alot harder to make. I do like that ninth peice added to help make a better match. I should give that a try. I found that moveing the peices around a bit also helped with matching the peices so that they wouldn't have gaps.
