I have seen lots of photos on that should be oriented vertical but appear horizontal.

My photos taken vertical with my iPhone 7 Plus don’t appear correct on Lumberjocks for some reason that has escaped me.

I have to open each one of the vertical photos and edit them with a slight cropping. Then, when I import them into LJ they appear correct.

Hope this helps my fellow LJ’s with the severe crick in their necks.

I don’t know about iPhones but Android and Windows phone pics orient correctly if the phone and camera orientation are the same. The only exception I’ve found is when autorotate is turned off, then vertical pics post sideways. Is your orientation locked to portrait?

With iphone pics, take the photo in landscape mode, with home button to the right of the picture frame. No edits necessary then.
