Guess I got a little ahead of myself on that last post. Here’s the whole thing clamped during the glue-up. You know what they say about having too many clamps?

Now here’s a plane that I converted to become a scrub plane. The scrub plane helped me even out the surface very quickly (not done yet, but it’s getting close) because I could take pretty aggressive passes with it. It also doesn’t seem to bind / catch nearly as much as a regular plane does.

And finally, in case you didn’t see it on my other post, here’s an image of the final result. Behind it is a stack of wood that I will use to make the other half of the top. Then there’s the rails, stretchers, legs, sliding deadman and chop. Oh, and a few more bits too. But aside from that, I’m practically finished, right?
