I am an Englishman living in Ohio, married to a wonderful American woman, and blessed with a beautiful 9 year old daughter. Being a creative person by nature, I have always enjoyed working with my hands. Over the past few years I have been slowly renovating my home and this has really sparked my interest in woodworking. My garage has become my workshop, and I enjoy nothing more than being able to spend a few hours working on whatever happens to be my latest project.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.
God Bless

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself just about 2 years ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…
I apologize for the late welcome but I am currently serving overseas and don’t have a lot of spare time on my hands.
Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Hi Stuart. Now I know a little about who is turning those wonderful goblets. I’ve missed a lot of your work, but have now seen your gallery with all of your beautiful projects. For some reason I fell for the little mug with Pooh bear. It was very nicely formed and perfect for it’s young owner. All the other projects were top notch.
