I decided to do a quick review on my wonderful Hitachi router. If you are in the market for a all around router that packs alot of router into a great price then seriously consider this Hitachi.
I know this is a “review”, but it’s a video too so I figured I would do it as a blog post to.

I absolutely agree. I love this router the start up is so smooth, it feels comfortable in my hands and is pretty quite compared to my craftsman router. I bought the Rockler bushing set and it fits snugly without any problems.

I have 2 of the “old style” Hitachi M12Vs that are probably 14-15 years old, and still going strong today…They are both plunge routers, and are 3 1/4 hp. One I keep mounted in the r.table, and the other I use for all hand routing…these things are beast, and the variable speed dial indicator lets me dial in the speed I want….I bought them both brand new, and they out perform the other couple of routers I have…I also have a DeWalt trim router that is an abosolute “must have” in my book, but the Hitachi are my “go to”.....
