I know that most of you don’t think too highly of Harbor Freight tools. But, I have heard some great reviews of their power carver/grinder 1/4 horse flex shaft. My birthday was last monday and I received some cash. Well, I popped on the “foredom wanna be”. It handles pretty good for my taste. I bought some lube for it and am planning on buying some foredom hand pieces to use instead of the one that came with it. Today I also bought the Wecheer small detail microcarver (another gift). I plan on doing a full review of the micro carver soon. Looks like I am moving up in the world of carving. My carving instructor seemed impresses with the flex shaft purchase. He even let me try some of his hand pieces. (smooth operation on the foredom). Well that is all for now just wanted to post something. Thanks for reading.

Looking forward to the Full Review, I have been looking at getting some carving tools. Not sure if it they will be powered or not. Harbor Freight has a lot of crap and a lot of descent tools but not much different than most stores.

One thing I believe is; Every thing you buy is as good as You expect of it. I have bought some things from them when I was in the body shop. It will never be a Fordom, as long as You treat it with respect, it will be OK ! I never felt bad about throwing the tools out when they outlived there usefullnes! have fun
