I applied some oil-based poly on the cherry edging to bring out the color, and once that was fully dried, I applied some water-based poly on all the exposed surfaces on the carcass and drawers.

I’m a big fan of oil on the “darker” woods from cherry to walnut. Really gives it depth.
Are all your cordless tools from the same manufacturer? I hate it when all the different chargers start eating up space…

Right now, I’ve just got Makita. I’ve been happy with them, so I don’t have a reason to switch. Of course, I could always be tempted by some random promotional sale from another manufacturer that I can’t pass up! :)
