Frame and Apron assembly
I’ve been plugging away at this build, and had to bring out the router and electric drill to make this project in a timely fashion (so much for entirely done with traditional tools). I cut most of the mortises by hand, but ended up using a paddle bit to hog out material on half of them. The apron is connect to the frame with a dado housing, glued with a lag screw through the front. Not exactly what I had planned, but helped make the process a little quicker. I will end the second apron tomorrow. Got to use a #4 Ohio Tool Works smoothing plane I bought on Etsy for $30. It was in fantastic shape, and it works really well. This build should be completed tomorrow.
