I have the Laguna 14 SUV. It has plenty of power and I am very happy with the machine. And despite other stories, when I have contacted Laguna customer service, they were very helpful. You may not need the 14” resaw on that saw, or you may want more resaw, depends on your plans. Hope the fires end soon and you get some clear air!!

When I upgrade my bandsaw, it will most likely be manufactured by either Harvey or Laguna.

I upgraded mine to a Ricon 10-326, and still kept the Grizzly G0555 for curvey stuff. I looked at the Laguna but decided on the Ricon when it was on sale for 15% off.

Hi Robert,

I’ve owned a version of the Grizzly you have. Great saw for the money.
Haven’t used the Laguna, but have seen in action and know others that have it and like it.
However, I don’t know how much better either the Laguna or Jet is over the grizzly.
Unless the grizzly is no longer working, not sure how much more you’re getting over what you have.

Have your say...
