Hi everybodies,
Just occurred to me, if any of y’all are visiting Oz, be sure to look me up. You’re all welcome to play with a heap of Festool, Lie Nielson, Leigh and Lee Valley equipment and some fine Australian hardwoods. (maybe even take a sample pack home in a doggy bag!) Coming into summer here, lots of BBQing.

Thanks for the invite if I ever make it your way. The closest I have been recently is Singapore…

Coming into fall here and I’m cold. So Australia sounds fun. Wish I could afford the trip!! Enjoy your summer Rob.

We should start a community calendar so we can start planning our summer vacations for the upcoming year(s) – otherwise we may all show up at a vacant shop on the wrong continent – but we’ll leave a nice souvenir behind! ;)

Which begs the question, if we can even figure it out, which Jock is the most “central” to everyone? – you’re hosting in 2010! (we’ll pick the month when we figure out the latitude/seasons)

thanks for the invite as well..

the “planning ahead” is a good idea. People mention it after they host a picnic but then things go silent.

Although some people can do a last minute picnic because of the close proximity of other Jocks, some of us need to plan months ahead to work out the details of making the trip.

If you have an idea about having an event in the next several months/year, let me know and I can write up something in the eMag.
