Shop hacks #2: Mobilize that cart with a pair of training wheels.

My shop is a small one car garage located in a subdivision. All my large power tools are either on mobile bases or carts. This arrangement allows me to free up floor space when I need to. My neighbor is also a weekend warrior and has the same constraints I do, albeit better organized and tidier. Recently, he kindly offered me a large machine stand he no longer needed. I gladly took the generous accepted it. I can always use another tool stand. The stand is the standard steel, angle, bolted frame structure often included with stationary power tools. My neighbor had bolted four casters on each of the removable rubber foot pads. The steel angle leg had no good surface for mounting casters...
