Unisaw #1: Two saws in one
I purchased a used Unisaw on CL for$ 500, from the S/N it is 1978. On the same day I purchased a Biesemeyer fence fro $200. So $700, not bad. I then put new bearings on the Arbor and motor, took it apart and painted it. I previously had a Delta 34-335 10” tilting arbor saw (Table Saw) and wonted to bolt them together so I could keep a dedicated Dado Blade in the 34-335 ( of course I had to rebuild that saw also). Well this was a challenge, because the 3 HP motor on the Unisaw stuck out so far I had to make an extension to fit between them. I used a length of 6” channel steel belt sanded and wet (oil) sanded.
