Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin

My name is Ray, a displaced Canadian now living and married in the wonderful state of Wisconsin, 3 wonderful children, and a wonderful wife who actually bought me most of my tools. My Faith in God is unwavering and never ending. I sold off all my tools as we were downsizing when all the kids moved out and we sold our home and moved into a small home. Then I became a grampa and my daughter came back to live with us. Now we purchased an old 1880 Cape Cod style home and i'm building my tool collection again. It originally had no power when it was built and had gas lights, at some point it was upgraded to electric lights, and now is upgraded to code. We removed the suspended ceiling that someone had put in and discovered the original gas light fixtures and crown molding were still in place, the lath and plaster walls and ceilings needed some work and that work to restore continues. We are returning it back to it's 1880 grandeur. I'm using the gas lines that were run to the fixtures to fish electrical to and have adapted the gas light fixture to electric and used vintage Edison bulbs. I believe this will be about a 2 year restore project. This is a 2880 Sq Ft 6 bedroom home.
