Finally Registered for Woodworking in America conference last night … My best friend and I are heading down Friday night after work … I can only make it down to Chicago on Saturday … but happy to just be going … The sessions we signed up for : - Early American Furniture: Casework and Detailing - What SketchUp Can Do For You - 20th Century Furniture: Why You Should Like It - Measure Twice, Measure Not At All Can’t Wait …

Part 2: Had a good time

Woodworking In America ……… We had a blast … Ate too much at Portellos … twice … the Italian beef is so good … and had to bring home White Castel sliders too (we don’t have them up here) … The Early American Furniture talk was good to see the different way they put together different styles … they had several projects that where broke down into their parts and they explained how and why of each joint and what makes a style and explained different ways to do it. We got a few good point...
