Aurora, CO 80011

Started out 6 months ago with a sheet of MDF nailed to two wooden sawhorses and through my recovery process and love for my new hobby I’ve acquired quite a few tools!

-- Believe it or not I cut my hand off in November and was back in the shop the day I got home!

Keep going! Looks like you have been busy! I call what you and I suffer from, ” A tool acquisition problem”.

tool acquisition is just another hobby within a hobby.i read what caused your recovery, wow very scary but thanks for discussing it we cant hear about safety with saws too much.

Yes I try to share my story to get some of these younger ones paying a little closer attention to how they work! It took my 6 weeks to get.back on the table saw and in those six weeks the saw and I had some serious stare downs haha tools show no remorse in the end… I finally pulled the blade and had to toss it. Been using the good ol trusty backup! Craftsman 9’ haha love the saw but a pain to find a blade. Have an 8 1/2’ Diablo on there now cause you can’t find a straight 9’ in stores and still difficult online. But cuts like butter!

Thank you for the tip I’ll have to try that out! I’m enjoying my little shop buy thinking about getting a bigger place to rent somewhere not at home haha I like the CNC but really only use it with the laser for pictures! Can’t really get the carving part down… they’re for the computer savvy which I am not
