Action Figure/Future tool tote #1: Back in the shop, and back between centers…

A little fun in the shop, closing in on a “tool” and action figure friend box for my grandson Aiden. Aside from the tall end segments fashioned from a random piece of ash (Grampy! Shame!) found around the shop and the baltic birch bottom, the wood is entirely from the 20-some-odd-year-old deck we demolished this summer.Spindle work sure is fun!I still have some shaping and tricking out to do, but the carcase work is done. Joinery is Incra variable spaced box joints. I hope it lasts till he loves tools as much (or as badly) as I do.P.S. Pam has the good camera, so this is from my iPod 5.
