Projects and Updates #3: Flame Box Elder Plate

Decided on a last minute Christmas gift on 12/24. I forgot I took the day off so after driving home from work I decided to knock this plate out. It was a 10×10x1.5 inch blank of spalted flame box elder. It turned nice and I even got the thickness thin enough that you could see light through a few of the wormholes. Did find a knot on the inside but its still a good looking piece with the flames. Thanks for looking!
