First LJ post. Visited the site a number of times and always left with good ideas. Looking for a little advice. I have been working on a “L” shaped desk. Due to the need to move the desk, the top is in two pieces and forms a herring bone design where the two pieces meet. The glue-ups went well until the very end. One of the boards moved about 1/8”. I didn’t notice this until I removed the clamps. The board is in the middle of the top. I need to trim about 1/8” off but am unsure how best to do it without potentially damaging the adjacent boards. Has anyone run into this? If so, how did you address it? Thank you in advance.

Have your say...
