Wood & Tool Gloat

My wife and I went to an estate sale a couple of weeks ago and I came away with a ton of turning stock. Some 1.5×1.5, 2×2, and some 3×3 — most of it about 12” long. The species varied — some maple, walnut, cherry, oak, poplar and even some exotics like purple heart, padauk, mahogany, bloodwood, zebra wood, and bubinga. (Even a large block of basswood for carving.) I also scored some WoodRiver router bits, WoodRiver and Rockler forstner bits, and a Veritas Edge-Trimming Plane.
