Update. Well it’s been almost five months since the tornado took the roof off my shop and drenched everything inside and I’m still trying to put things back together little by little as I can afford materials and stuff. There are pics of the damage on an earlier blog if you care to see them. I haven’t even begun to replace any of my tools that were ruined yet. I have managed to get a new roof on the shop with the money that was donated on the GoFundMe account. Lots to do and lots to buy yet though. I sure miss the days when I could go out to the shop and just do woodworking and relax and enjoy it. Hopefully I can get back to doing that soon. I’ll post pics of the progress I’ve made so far soon. A big thank you to the folks that have donated to the GoFundMe account though. It’s helped greatly!

I can not image what you have gone through trying to get your shop back.

I have also survived a tornado in central Nebraska. We were visiting and a tornado struck the house we were visiting and tore the top half of the house off. It created a huge mess but nobody hurt as we had dashed to the basement.

Good luck with your shop rebuild.

Have your say...
