Had a tornado pass through here Jan. 15th. The score is Tornado-1, My woodshop-0. Sucks huh? And NO insurance. Still sorting things out.

My neighbor lady next door set up a GoFundMe page to try and help. It’s been going slow so far. Here’s the link if anyone is interested. Thanks.

That is a real shame. Hate to see anyone affected by a tornado. Good reminder to all of us to check our insurance coverage. Good luck with your “go fund me” page. I’ll check it out.

Wow serious stuff these tornados by the looks.
a very peculiar event the pipes are still in the rack but the roof has relocated weird stuff!

Get a tarp first up then see if you can rally any LJs nearby to arrange a crane to return the roof to its proper spot!

Robscastle. That roof will never be a roof again. It will have to be replaced as well as a number of my larger power tools. .

Update. Well it’s been a little over four months since this happened and I’m still trying to put things back together little by little as I can afford materials and stuff. I haven’t even begun to replace any of my tools that were ruined. I have managed to get a new roof on the shop with the money that was donated on the GoFundMe account. Lots to do and lots to buy yet though. I sure miss the days when I could go out to the shop and just do woodworking and relax and enjoy it. Hopefully I can get back to doing that soon. I’ll post pics of the progress I’ve made so far soon. A big thank you to the folks that have donated to the GoFundMe account though. It’s helped greatly!
