Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…

Wow, Thanks for the warm welcomes! Cal Phillips here, having worked with wood all my life, from construction to coffee tables, I’m a third generation woodworking squirrel that finally found a home for his nut. Starting out in 1977, as Cal’s Home Improvement, doing everything from replacing toilet seats and faucets to painting interiors as well as painting exteriors, deciding by 78-79’ concentrate more on painting, however many times painting requires wood replacement first if wood has deteriorated. Feel Blessed having knowledge of both.

By 1993, getting a new bride, moving to Denver from East Texas, we changed our company name to Eco Paint Specialist’s Inc. The acronym Eco having dual meanings one Economical as well as Ecological, which was way before Green Eco Friendly Low V.O.C paints were available for retail purchases. Therefore, we are the originators of the term Eco Paint. Still having both meanings today in our ever changing economy.

Leading the Home Improvement sector once again, incorporating on our main web site, Painting Denver, the nation’s First, (maybe the world’s) First Online Payment Form built into a website in the Home Improvement sector. (works best using IE)

House painting has become our specialty, although having life-long passion for wood working I feel has made us the Leader as a Denver Painting Contractor, also providing siding repairs & replacements as part of our services.
This post is not intended to sell, promote, but convey little history of new member.

Thanks again for the welcomes, and look forward being an active participant here at LJ’s.~Cal
