Sorry, I have not been posting much. Life is keeping me too busy to get to woodworking. But here is a tiny project, that ties into another hoppy I share with my sweetheart. We are part of a beer brewing club for a year and a half now. And today we will be doing a collaborate project. We have 5 gallons of our wort in a 55 gallon oak barrel along with 10 other club members. Today we will take out the Triple Belgian beer and replace it with an Oud Bruin Flaanders. But the barrel is just laying on the floor of someone’s garage.
So I bought some 2×4 studs and some casters.

Here is a good view of the barrel on its dolly base full of sour Flanders for the next year.

Uhhhh sounds wonderful my friend.
I get thirsty now. ;-)
One of my hobbies are whiskey, I just don’t know how to become a collector, the bottles keeps getting empty…
Good to see you and to hear from you also. ;-)
Best thoughts and a smile,
Mads

Great hobby. I like the barrel! My son and his neighbor have been doing this for a few years now. I get a lot of free beer! My son is in advertising and comes up with a lot of cool beer bottle labels for their different types. I went to a beer tasting thing a couple of years ago with my son and I liked the Belgian beers the best.

Great hobby. I like the barrel! My son and his neighbor have been doing this for a few years now. I get a lot of free beer, but I’m not much of a drinker, so it tends to pile up in our 2nd fridge. My son is in advertising and comes up with a lot of cool beer bottle labels for their different types. I went to a beer tasting thing a couple of years ago with my son and I think the Belgian beers tasted best.
