Woodturning in Romania #3: adjustments & first bowl
Unfortunately I did’t remove the problem of lathe at 100%. Still warm, but I can work continuously about 1 / 2 hour. I managed to align pulleys and found a serious distributor for driving belts. These are high quality and resistant to heat. I bought 5 pieces because they are cheap, about $ 4 each.So, full of joy, I chose a piece of green walnut and I made a bowl. Before I start it turning, the wood has been outside about three months. I made a rough turn and I dried the bowl in the microwave.
