Location: 9539 E. DE Ave., Richland, Michigan

Downsized to Richland last summer (2011) getting ready for retirement.
My wife and I are settling into urban living after 30 years in the country.
Workshops in basement and garage are bulging with tools that are waiting for the workshop building that should start this summer.
I'm currently better at mechanics than woodworking. I was trained as Electrician, Welder, Machinist, and Toolmaker, in that order. Last 30 years have been as a supervisor/manager/engineer. Over the years I've collected a pile of equipment.
Woodworking has been mostly building houses, sheds, and barns, with the occasional piece of furniture or knicnack to leaven the mix.
With a whole new interest in hand tools, to gain some much needed exersize, I've been learning to sharpen and tune them for use in smaller projects.
Two new beginnings should keep me going for the next few years. After that we'll see what happens.

Welcome Dave. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.
